MSPO 2017: WZM and Lubawa partner to develop mobile camouflage for Polish Leopard 2A5 MBT


At MSPO 2017, 5-8 September 2017, in Kielce Poland, WZM showcases a mobile camouflage developed in collaboration with Lubawa. This camouflage has been designed espacially for the Polish Leopard 2A5 MBT fleet.

The mobile camouflage provides multi-band protection for VIS, NIR, TIR, Radar. It imitates the texture of the natural environment, leaves, terrain giving space and providing enhanced protection in forest environments.

In addition, the special mobile camouflage blends in with the natural environments and provides effective protection against optical identification systems and the armed and unarmed eye (VIS).

Camouflage has a remission availability to effectively mimic the natural environments, providing protection against night vision devices (NIRs) and reducing thermal radiation to 85% (TIR).

The advantages of the mobile camouflage include: high ripping and tearing endurance, light weight, quick assembly and disassembly and easy access to all panels.
