MSPO 2016: Polish government makes MEADS offer request as Lockheed Martin & PGZ sign LoI
At MSPO 2016, the International Defence Industry Exhibition currently held in Kielce (Poland), Lockheed Martin issued a statement today regarding the letter of intent (LoI) signed with PGZ as well as the request by the Polish government for MEADS systems.

It is our honor today to sign a Letter of Intent for a new and ongoing cooperation with PGZ, Poland's leading defense company. Our agreement further solidifies MEADS International's commitment to partner with Polish industry in air and missile defense.

We also look forward to formally reentering the Wisla medium-range air defense program, with the Polish government's request for a full MEADS offer. MEADS is the only system to have demonstrated and proven network operation and 360-degree protection.

We are confident that our offer for the Wisla program provides Poland with the best solution for its military requirements, at a competitive price, with near-term completion and robust national industrial participation.

MEADS International, a multinational joint venture headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is the prime contractor for the MEADS system. Major subcontractors and joint venture partners are MBDA in Italy and Germany, and Lockheed Martin in the United States.
