"We want the defence companies to work under one banner, not because this is the flavour-of-the-month ting. We want to introduce this concentration in order to use the assets most efficiently, we want to prevent the resources from fragmentation, we want them to join forces for the benefit of the Polish economy. This has been designed make a kind of a feedback-look and invest in Polish technological ideas and solutions, Polish economy, Polish labour market. We also want to see Poland Armaments Group win the foreign markets" said the Ministry of Treasury Wlodzimierz Karpinski .

"The army and the Ministry of Defence also anticipate this moment. For long we have wanted to have a strong partner in Poland's industry. We hope that the Polish Armaments Group will have a kick-off start." the Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak added in his speech .

The Polish Armaments Group PGZ will finally comprise more than 30 companies which represent the defense industry, shipbuilding sector, offshore and new technologies. The group will boast the annual turnover of 4.5 billion PLN and will have over 16 thousand employees. As a result of the ongoing consolidation process, one of the largest defense companies will be created created in this part of the world. At the 22nd International Defence Industry Exhibition in Targi Kielce PGZ showcases an innovative, multimedia stand, which symbolizes the "new approach" to the issues of the Poland's defence industry's promotion.

The proposed action plan for PGZ has been divided into three stages: short-term - the consolidation of the Poland's defense industry and development of a business strategy of the companies which have been merged, mid-term - with this goal the Group intends to become a leader in the industrial modernization of the Polish army as well as to implement a smart specialization of products and services on offered and the long-term - this perspective is designed to develop PGZ into a strong and modern business organization capable of competing on the international armaments market. PGZ wants to introduce a real knowledge transfer to the economy sector, following the traces of other companies in the world.
