World Premiere for SAAB Soldier C2 and personnal radio integration at MSPO 2012
Defence and security company Saab has for the first time created a personal radio integration for the 9LAND SOLDIER sPAD. It was shown during the defence and security exhibition MSPO 2012 in Poland.

Saab showed the 9LAND SOLDIER sPAD for the first time at Eurosatory exhibition in Paris in June 2012. The launch in Paris was very successful and therefore Saab decided to make a personal radio integration step for the MSPO 2012, even though the product is designed to radio agnostic.

Jyrki Kujansuu and Tommy Malmström presented the 9LAND SOLDIER sPAD to us during MSPO 2012.

“Since Saab has a very good relationship to the Polish company Radmor S.A. in Gdynia, it was a natural choice for us to ask them for permisson to use their Personal Soldier Radio 35010 for the integration with the 9LAND SOLDIER sPAD”, says Jyrki Kujansuu Marketing and Sales Director C2 Systems at Saab.

This hybrid-electric armoured vehicle is fitted with a new turret mounted at the rear of the chassis which can be equipped with sensors, optronics and communication equipment for reconnaissance missions.

The technical integration has been concluded in a rather short time frame. It is a pleasure that Saab, together with Radmor during the MSPO 2012, can show that Saab’s light weight 9LAND SOLDIER sPAD works very well integrated with Radmor’s PSR 35010.

All features of the PSR 35010 radio makes it a good companion for the 9LAND SOLDIER sPad and together they create one of the lightest and smallest solutions of soldier C2 systems on the market. The integrated light weight solution makes the individual soldier more efficient to perform his or her mission and provides command as well as control capabilities and computer power.
