Rosoboronexport organize a single Russian display at MILEX-2019 arms show, held in Minsk in Belarus on May 15-18.

"Russia and Belarus are strategic partners in the military-technical sphere. The trade of Rosoboronexport with Belarussian defense enterprises exceeded 1 bln US dollars since 2001. The range of mutual interest is broad: from end product supplies to joint research and projects in the defense sphere," Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev said.

The total space of the Russian display at MILEX exceed 500 square meters. Eight major Russian defense enterprises participates, including Almaz-Antey, Uralvagonzavod, Tecmash. Rosoboronexport displays over 220 exhibits, including models of Yak-130 training aircraft, T-90S tank, tank support vehicle and Buk-M2E and Tor-M2KM air defense weapons.

"The Belarussian show is of specific interest for us as the most representative and visited event on post-Soviet space. Our participation offers an excellent possibility to promote Russian products in Europe, Central and Near Asia, Transcaucasia," Mikheyev said.

Rosoboronexport expects increased attention to its ground hardware, aircraft, air defense, and special technical means. The exhibits include Mi-171Sh transport helicopter, T-90MS tank, BTR-82A APC, Khrisentama-S self-propelled antitank gun, Kornet-EM antitank missiles, Typhoon-K and Tiger-M automobiles, Smerch MLRS, Iskander-E tactical missile complex, and various modifications of Kalashnikov rifles.
