“The missile program is a priority for Ukroboronprom. In 2020, it is planned to continue testing in accordance with the schedule of research and development work which contains restricted-access information. Vilkha-M tests are being carried out as part of passing this new system into service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In April, the second successful missile test took place. The final stage of tests is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2020," State Concern “Ukroboronprom” posted on Facebook.

The State Concern notes that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allocated funds for the tests. After they are conducted, the Ministry of Defense should pass Vilkha-M products in Armed Forces’ service within the shortest possible time. The serial production is expected to start in 2021.

As reported, the Vilkha-M is a project to create high-precision 300 mm rocket-propelled munitions with a maximum range of over 100 km, which are produced by enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in a closed cycle.
