Spanish company SDLE to supply military material to base camp in Bétera


The Madrid-based company Star Defense Logistics & Engineering (SDLE) has signed a framework contract with the Spanish army for the maintenance and supply of material to the Jaime I military base located in Bétera (Valencia).

According to the contract, with an allocation of 900,000 euro for the next two years, SDLE will supply and maintain Colpro tents material, electrical installations, air conditioning units and storage containers, as well as supply all spare parts and materials for maintenance. The framework contract may be extended until 2021.

The company has been awarded this contract because of its experience and qualified personnel. In a temporary joint venture with another company, SDLE has provided this service during the last four years. SDLE makes the difference by meeting the qualitative needs of the customer, both in deliveries and after-sales warranty. 20% of the company staff has more than 30 years of experience in the defense sector.

Besides having positioned itself as a leader in repair and maintenance of land vehicles, SDLE has extensive experience in supplying spare parts for military equipment and industrial
machinery, as well as in the supply and repair of power generators, barracks, humanitarian service containers, water treatment plants and air conditioning equipment.
