Russia is to create a self-propelled antitank gun on the Boomerang platform in the near future, said Alexander Krasovitsky, CEO of the Military-Industrial Company which designs the weapon. "We plan to make a wheeled tank. It is our know-how on the same (Boomerang) platform but with a bigger caliber gun. We will speak about it in the near future," he told the Zvezda TV channel.

According a video published on February 26, 2018 to the YouTube account of the "Chronicles of Turkmenistan", Turkish Company BMC has delivered 4x4 armoured vehicle Amazon and Vuran to the Turkeminstan armed forces. BAE Systems has submitted its proposal to the U.S. Army to build and test the Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) vehicle for use by the Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT). The MPF is a new combat vehicle required by the Army to provide the IBCT with a protected platform capable of delivering overwhelming precision firepower combined with the ability to move rapidly in a variety of terrain conditions.
