The spokesperson of the Pentagon, the vice admiral William Gortney indicated that there had been no more flying activities from regular Libyan armed forces. No radar emission would have been detected, on the anti-aircraft defense. He added, the use of radars was only detected to the cities of Tripoli and Syrte.

Buildings would have been also bombarded in Tripoli by the aircraft of the coalition, which would have aimed at command and control centres of the Libyan army.
