"The air defense missile regiment practiced cohesion at the Army Air Defense training center, which culminated in a missile live-firing exercise. During the maneuvers, complex targets were used to simulate the flight of air-launched weapons along trajectories typical for operational tactical planes, cruise missiles, glide bombs and unmanned aerial vehicles of various types," the press office said.
The live-firing exercise involved more than 300 servicemen and about 50 items of military and special hardware. When the live-firing exercise is completed, the servicemen will be carried by train to their permanent base and begin to provide air defense for the Moscow Region. |
