Saab has received a new order from the U.S. Army for the shoulder-launched AT4CS RS (Confined Space, Reduced Sensitivity) anti-armor weapon system. The order value is approximately $50 million. The order was booked during Q2 2018.

Lockheed Martin and ThalesRaytheonSystems are joining forces to provide the NATO Alliance with a territorial Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) command and control capability. This Teaming Agreement, signed in the presence of Raytheon and Thales, the two shareholders of the joint venture, establishes a transatlantic team that combines the depth and breadth of decades of expertise from Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, with the European air command and control capabilities of Thales. The overall team will include industry representatives from across the Alliance to deliver a low risk capability for NATO's Air Command and Control BMD program.

Russia`s National Guard (Rosgvardiya) has acquired the SV-98M 7.62 mm bolt-action sniper rifle developed by Rostec`s Kalashnikov Group, according to a source from the Russian industry. "The National Guard has signed a contract worth RUB8 million [USD128,020] for 26 SV-98M sniper rifles with the Kalashnikov Group. The firearms will have been delivered to the customer by 20 November," he said. The source did not disclose the variant of the SV-98 to be delivered to the service but it is most probably the SV-98M.

SH-1 started as an export project with Pakistan and Burma (Myanmar), the only two known customers. Recent photos of the Chinese 72nd Artillery Brigade, 72nd Army Group, Eastern Theater Command, confirms that the PLA’s equivalent to the SH-1 is now in service in China. There is a movement afoot to address the Army's future command post capability requirements, Kathryn Bailey, Communication-Electronics PAO, reports. In lieu of stagnant and large tent-based command posts, the Army is looking to develop smaller, mobile command posts that are agile and just as effective as their "big brothers."
