Rostec from Russia and ST Electronics of Singapore to cooperate for security equipment.

The document regulates cooperation between the two companies in the areas of surveillance, integrated systems for security management, the creation of security management situation centers, intelligent control systems for the transport of secret and dangerous goods, and more.

One of the key aspects of cooperation is based on the use of an advanced product from ST Electronics called AgilFence. This so-called "smart fence" is based on an innovative fiber-optic sensor cable. The next step of cooperation was determined to be the placement of STE technologies in Russia, according to the press service of Security Technologies.

“The launch of the assembly line of the cable for AgilFence at facilities of Rostec will optimize the existing safety system for Rostec Corporation and will be an important aid in the difficult task of providing comprehensive security of the corporation’s facilities and property,” said Vladimir Kapysh, CEO of Security Technologies.

ST Electronics is a subsidiary of the large concern Singapore Technologies Engineering, with which Rostec actively cooperates. ST Electronics focuses on developing innovative equipment and systems for security infrastructure.

As Nikolay Volobuev emphasized, cooperation between Russian and Singaporean companies has lasted for more than five years.

“This signed document is very important for us and can even be described as historic. The placement of Singaporean technologies in Russia will be an important step in the development of cooperation at the level of companies, corporations, and even our states.”
