“We participated in all MILEX exhibitions since 2001 and look forward to a fruitful work here again. Certainly, we’ve scheduled most of meetings precisely with our Belarusian partners. We maintain very close cooperation, which we intend to gradually expand. As regards Rosoboronexport’s area, it’s primarily about projects carried out on behalf of third countries in the field of production, repair and modernization of aircraft, armored vehicles, and air defense weaponry. Such cooperation offers manufacturers in both countries new opportunities in the global arms market and helps them operate more effectively in an increasingly competitive environment,”- said Valery Varlamov who heads the Rosoboronexport’s delegation at the exhibition.

Talks with the representatives of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, special exporters (JSC Beltechexport, SFTUE Belspetsvneshtechnika and SFTUE Belvneshpromservice), enterprises (JSC Peleng, JSC 558 Aircraft Repair Plant, JSC 140 Repair Plant, etc) have been scheduled to be held during the exhibition, These meetings will discuss current projects, as well as promising areas of cooperation in foreign markets.

In addition, Rosoboronexport expects to hold talks with its partners from other CIS countries, in particular with the delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. The issues of organizing licensed production and establishing service centers for previously supplied equipment are now actively discussed with the Commonwealth countries

Rosoboronexport’s booth will exhibit the latest models of weapons and military equipment. In particular, keen interest among foreign delegations is expected in different close-combat weapons, BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and their upgrade packages, GAZ-233036 Tigr (SPM-2) special police vehicle, modular Tor-M2KM SAM system and wheeled Tor-M2K version based on chassis manufactured by JSC Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, Mi-28NE and Mi-35M attack helicopters.
