German army orders to Daimler AG 76 ENOK command and operations wheeled armoured vehicle
 
Germany's defense procurement agency has contracted Daimler AG for 76 ENOK command and operations vehicles. The ENOK has been used on operational deployments by German forces since February. Germany has military forces in Afghanistan as part of NATO's International Security Assistance Force.

BAE Systems Providing 519 Gunner Protection Systems for U.S. Marine Corps
 
BAE Systems received an $18 million delivery order to provide 519 Marine Corps Gunner Protection Systems for the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement and the High Mobility Multi-Wheel Vehicle (HMMWV) which will support U.S. Navy requirements. The Marine Corps Gunner Protection System (MGPS) is also known as the Marine Corps Transparent Armored Gun Shield (MCTAGS) system

The Chinese unmanned aerial vehicle "Global Hawk" could be in service in the Chinese Air Force
 
The existing of the Chinese UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicled ) "Global Hawk" is nothing new as it has been featured in various defence shows. However, until today there has been no confirmation to suggest that the PLAAF is adopting this high-altitude UAV, but a recent picture take in Xianglong, Chinese Air Force base, suggests that the "Global Hawk" is now in service.

Bangladesh Army will purchase 44 new main batle tanks MBT-2000 Type 90-II from China
 
For the first time in the country's history, the Bangladesh government will purchase 44 new tanks MBT-2000 Type 90-II and three armoured recovery vehicles (ARV) for the army as part of its plan to modernise the armed forces. The country will also buy two brand new helicopters for the army to ensure necessary logistic support for the UN peacekeeping activities
