Crow1, the civil model of the SkyStar 180, is a small sized, mobile aerostat designed to be used by civil clients forsecurity, critical infrastructure protection, public safety, VIP protection and crowd control. The Crow1 aerostat system is ideal for persistent surveillance and communication over long periods of time at a very minimal cost.

The Skystar 180 tactical aerostat system is a small size highly mobile aerostat suitable for tactical mid-range surveillance defense and security applications as well as public safety, police and military applications. By providing an elevated platform, well above the field of operation, the system offers an indispensable, dominating view of the scene below.

The system is based on a towable trailer and consists of a stabilized day/night electro-optical payload suspended from a helium filled aerostat that is tethered to a ground system, and a Portable Ground Control Station (PGCS).

Rami Shmueli, RT's CEO: "We are honored to provide the first CROW1,our advanced civil model of the SkyStar 180 aerostat, to a customer in Europe, as we see great potential in the European market. Using an aerostat is a very cost-effective solution for security, as it resembles building a tower of 1,500 ft. in only 20 minutes, and at a minimal cost of 10$ per day. This tower is able to stay stable for days, focusing on a specific target and providing persistent security. No other securitysystems, manned or unmanned, are as cost-effective as aerostats. "
