Russia will complete modernization of its Air Defence Forces by the end of 2016. The information was presented by the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry on Tuesday, January 13. Harris Corporation and prime contractor nLogic were awarded a contract to provide the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) with network infrastructure services for the Department of Defense Commissary system. Harris and nLogic will provide network infrastructure support for 245 military commissaries and seven central distribution centers in the United States and abroad that support U.S. military and DOD retirees.

Japan's defense budget has reached US$41.7 billion for the fiscal year of 2015, China's newspaper Global Times reported on Jan. 9. Under the Mid-Term Defense Program, Japan's defense budget will rise 0.8% each year until 2018. By 2016, the defense budget of Japan is expected to exceed US$42 billion.
