Iranian Company has produced simulator for training of air defence tactics.
An Iranian company has mass produced a simulator system for training air defense tactics, an achievement that saves an annual sum of $3 million. Kazem Sharifi, the CEO of the company, said local experts have spent 3 years to design and manufacture the simulator system, according to the Tasnim news agency.
     
Iran's military has unveiled indigenous simulators for the Shahin (Hawk) and Skyguard missile defense systems.
     

Manufacturing five of such simulators has cost the country less than $600,000, he added.

“By applying the simulators, the trainees can learn how to safely work with the air defense systems at different levels, under an instructor’s supervision and in a standard manner,” Sharifi explained.

Iranian military experts have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment.

Back in November 2014, Iran unveiled a domestically manufactured flight simulator system, compatible with different types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The Islamic Republic is now in possession of a broad range of UAVs, which can be used for both civilian and military purposes.
