Azerbaijan could be interested to buy the Belarus short range air defense missile system T38 Stilet

Belarusian Tetraedr defence company has established a joint venture with Azerbaijan. TETRAEDR is a scientific and industrial private unitary enterprise specializing in development and manufacture of advanced radio-electronic weapon systems, development and manufacture of hardware and software used in radar and radio electronic control assets, upgrading of Air Defense Missile Systems.

Tetraedr company has modernized 2 batteries (8 battle vehicles) S-125 (Pechora) surface to air missile complexes. The tests conducted after modernization showed high results.

Head of the company Andrey Vokhovsky told APA in his last year’s interview that as a result of the modernization expiration period of Pechora has been extended for 15 years.

To modernize its air defense capabilities, Azerbaijan expressed interest in T38 Stilet a new short range air defense missile system, designed and manufactured by the Belarus Company Tetraedr.
