Description
The MaxxPro Plus is the heavy version of the MaxxPro family vehicle. The MaxxPro Plus vehicle incorporates the same design and components with the standard version of the vehicle. The MaxxPro Plus was introduced by Navistar in June 2008. MaxxPro Plus has increased engine power and payload, as well as Frag Kit 6 enhancements for increased explosively formed penetrator protection.

Technical data
Armament
The MaxxPro can be fitted with a one-man turret, armed with a 7,62 mm or 12,7 mm machine gun. The armored glass turret is mounted at the front, to the roof of the vehicle.
Protection
The MaxxPro Plus utilizes a crew capsule with a V-shaped hull as for the basic version of the vehicle, mounted on an International WorkStar 7000 chassis. The V-hull deflects the blast of a land mine or improvised explosive device (IED) away from the vehicle to protect its occupants. Additional protection: MaxxPro Plus is designed to accept additional addon armor as mission requirements warrant. The MaxxPro Plus is ready and capable against EFP (Explosively Formed Projectile) threats.
Propulsion
The MaxxPro Plus uses a 4x4 chassis with dual-rear wheels. The Maxxpro Plus is motorized with Turbo inter-cooled, direct electronic injection, four stroke MaxxForce D/D9.3I6 engine, coupled to an Allison 3200 SP/5-speed automatic transmission.
Accessories
The International MaxxPro Plus can ford to a maximum depth of 0,91 m without preparation. The vehicle is also equipped with an NBC protection system. A winch is mounted to the front of the vehicle.
