CAMELEON MMS offers a wide range of standard mission modules suitable for operations across the combat, combat support and combat service support functions. Vehicle crews simply change modules to re-configure the platform. Role changing is a one-man operation taking under two minutes to achieve a full capability reconfiguration.

The CAMELEON IV440 utilises a lightweight, hydraulic load changer system to enable rapid platform reconfiguration. From a troop carrier to an ambulance, from an ambulance to a mortar platform – each change takes no more than two minutes and can be carried out by a single vehicle crewman.

The flexibility and utility of the CAMELEON MODULAR MISSION SYSTEM (MMS©) can be fully exploited only if it is mounted on a cost effective vehicle which provides levels of mobility and capacity which compliment the system’s potential. The IVECO 4 x 4 can be fully supported by Iveco’s worldwide dealer network and uses commercially available spare parts, minimising both cost of ownership and logistic footprint. The vehicle combines class leading handling and speed with a 3 tonne payload capacity, so providing in excess of 2.5 tonnes of payload for the CAMELEON MMS. The base vehicle’s proven reliability and durability borne from the IVECO chassis provides the dependable logistic muscle which ensures that the MMS concept can be delivered on the ground.

The Iveco four cylinder 3 litre turbocharged diesel engine delivers 180 BHP, ensuring there is more than adequate power to tackle the most demanding conditions, providing outstanding terrain accessibility. The spacious, ergonomically optimised cab ensures that the crew can operate in comfort whatever the external conditions, reducing driver fatigue and enabling crew to maintain a high workrate.
