Saab applauds Indonesia’s clearly stated policies of national industrial development and self-sufficiency through transparent and open processes. Saab supports Indionesia’s desire to see ‘smart investment’ in high technology industries, like defence and aerospace. Saab is ready to stand as a partner for progress in Indonesia, in full accordance with the obligations of legislation such as Law No. 16/2012 and the strict observance of Indonesia’s declared procurement rules.

“Indonesia has great ambitions to develop its national industry; to build new levels of skill and capability in aerospace and defence through enhanced international cooperation. Future partners like Saab must deliver true technology transfer, industrial cooperation and return-on-investment, all with the highest degree of ethics and transparency. At Saab we understand and respect these goals and we are ready to work-hand-in-hand with the Indonesian government, industry and armed forces to achieve their aims for national development,” says Dan Enstedt, president and CEO of Saab Asia Pacific Co.
