IDEX 2019: Arquus showcases its VAB Mk.3 with over-armor for the first time


The French manufacturer Arquus is showcasing its VAB Mk.3 with its right flank fitted with the new over-armor designed to protect the vehicle against RPG-like rockets.

The VAB Mk.3 is a new family of 6x6 medium-weight armored vehicles with high level performance in terms of mobility, protection and payload. This family of vehicles benefits from thirty years of experience gathered worldwide through the amphibious VAB legacy.

A complete system offer integrating top-level technologies and allowing the completion of a wide array of combat missions in collaborative mode thanks to its wide range of possible configurations. Low procurement cost and access to the Volvo/Renault Trucks maintenance network across the world are some of its advantageous assets.

The ballistic and mine/IED protection is set at STANAG 4569 level.
