The HyDrone 1800 is a 6-rotor drone designed for military and security applications, it represents the future generation of drone using hydrogen fuel cell technology. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are zero emission and run on compressed hydrogen fed into a fuel cell "stack" that produces electricity to power the vehicle.

The HyDrone 1800 is made on carbon-fiber providing high resistance. The HyDrone 1800’s hydrogen fuel cell technology provides a flight endurance of 4 hours with a flight range of 100 km.

With the use of Hydrogen technology, the Chinese defense industry increases the flight endurance of similar military drones available in the market that are limited with around 1 hour of flight time.

The HyDrone 1800 has a payload capacity of 5 kg. It can be fitted with a full range of surveillance systems including thermala imaging camera, low light camera, laser designator, zoom camera and more.

The HyDrone 1800 uses a "Plug-and-Play" mechanism enables mounting or changing payloads in a few seconds. More than 200 types of payload can be utilized to meet different needs. It has a maximum takeoff weight of 23 kg and can fly at a maximum altitude of 2,500m.
