IDEF 2021: Nurol Makina unveils pick-up variant of Yörük NMS 4x4 armored vehicle


Turkish company Nurol Makina is showcasing a pick-up configuration of its Yörük (NMS) 4x4 new generation armored vehicle for the first time at IDEF 2021.

The Yörük Pick-up vehicle can safely carry materials, ammunition, and serve as a weapon carrier in any weather over any terrain. The company is showcasing the Pick-up version of Yörük 4x4 integrated with a Sarp L Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon (RCSW) System produced by Aselsan.

The Yörük 4x4 Armoured Pick-up includes many features that offer unique advantages to its users. As a high-speed, multi-purpose hybrid vehicle that can move rapidly in asymmetric threat and conflict environments while engaged in various tasks, including UN Peacekeeping missions and logistic support, the vehicle also offers high levels of ballistic protection in accordance with NATO standards. The vehicle can carry five people.

The Yörük 4x4 was launched at IDEF’17, and has since been the focus of attention of many customers and users. Nurol Makina has signed contracts with a number of foreign customers for this pickup truck. Among the features that distinguish the vehicle from its competitors in the same class are its scalable armor, digital display, lightweight and a high level of ballistic protection against mines and IEDs.
