IDEF 2017: Roketsan unveils Pedestal Mounted CIRIT weapon system

At IDEF 2017, Roketsan is specially putting the spotlight on the Pedestal Mounted CIRIT weapon system. CIRIT 2.75” Laser Guided Missile a well-defined weapon for low cost high precision strike capability has become well known among the modern armed forces. The flexible architecture of the weapon enables the integration on aerial, naval and land platforms.

Designed as the primary weapon for attack platforms, CIRIT is already being used on helicopters, border patrol aircraft, UAV’s, naval platforms, stationary land based platforms and mobile land platforms.
The PMC (also known as KMC among Turkish Land Forces) has been developed completely by ROKETSAN resources to support the mobile land troops operational capabilities. All integration and test activities have been completed by a dedicated team in a short period on a land vehicle. Due to its unique and agile performance capabilities PMC has become the interest of modern armed forces. |

|
In addition to the CIRIT Missile integration, Anti-tank Missile (UMTAS/L-UMTAS) integrations recently have been started and a new contract awarded in 2016 by the Turkish Military of Defense. Preparations are ongoing for the first party deliveries to Turkish Land Forces. Within the scope of this contract, PMC shall evolve to carry and fire multiple types of guided missiles from the same turret.
Pedestal Mounted CIRIT (PMC), is a high mobility field proven weapon system, with stabilized remote control missile station capable of firing on the move, EOS integrated Mast with 360° azimuth coverage for automatic target tracking and engagement provided with autonomous laser designation on STANAG 3733 compatibility, quad view video, Full HD IR, TV and SWIR video for ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) enabling day&night operation, MIL-STD-1760 compatible store management system with gunner& commander control station, high capacity on-board CIRIT Missile storage, C-130 Transportable Tracked/Wheeled Vehicle platform. |
