The KF41 is an IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) in the Lynx family of a tracked armored vehicle designed, developed and manufactured by the German Company Rheinmetall Defence. This vehicle is a longer version than the KF31 IFV unveiled in September 2016, 7.22 m for the KF31 and 7.7m for the KF41. It also has a more powerful engine and weighs 10 tons more than KF31.

The Marder 1A3 is an upgraded version of the Marder family of tracked armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV). The A3 upgrade program began in 1988, with Thyssen-Henschel being awarded a contract to upgrade 2,100 Marder 1 A1/A2 series vehicles to A3 standard at a rate of 220 vehicles a year.

The Wiesel 2 airborne armored vehicle is a further development of the Wiesel 1. The Wiesel 2 has an extended hull and a more powerful engine. It is currently in service with Germany. The prototype of the Wiesel 2 light armored air-transportable vehicle, developed by the now Rheinmetall Landsysteme as a private venture with the assistance of a number of subcontractors, was completed at Kiel in mid-1994.

The Puma KMW is the new armoured infantry fighting vehicle which was ordered by the German army to replace the old Marder. The Projekt Systems and Management (PSM) consortium, based in Kassel in Germany, is developing the Puma tracked infantry fighting vehicle for the German Army under a programme authorised by the German Federal Parliament in 2002.
