1,800 private companies in China have now licenses for research and production of weaponry
 

A document entitled Military-Civilian Integration Development Report of China in 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the report) was unveiled on December 12, 2013 in Beijing. The report, compiled by experts and scholars of the National Defense University (NDU) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), is China’s first annual report on military-civilian integration development.

A document entitled Military-Civilian Integration Development Report of China in 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the report) was unveiled on December 12, 2013 in Beijing. The report says that China’s military industry has stepped up the pace of opening to private enterprises, as evidenced by that over 1,800 private enterprises have obtained the licenses for research and production of weaponry and equipment.

BAE Systems has signed a $120 million (SEK 800m) contract to supply an additional 102 BvS10 all-terrain vehicles to Sweden. The new sale is the result of an extended contract option taken out when the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) announced a purchase of 48 BvS10 armored vehicles from BAE Systems Hägglunds in January 2012.

Four U.S. soldiers injured in South Sudan after their aircraft CV-22 Osprey came under fire
 

Four American troops were injured Saturday, December 21, 2013, when their aircraft came under fire over South Sudan, where they were attempting to evacuate American citizens. The mission was aborted. Hungarian army receive 12 MRAP armoured vehicles MaxxPro Plus from United States
 

The Hungarian Defence Forces were lent 12 Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) MaxxPro Plus armoured fighting vehicles for training purposes by the US Forces European Command. The vehicles were taken over by the Minister of Defence of Hungary from the Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the US Embassy in Budapest on Tuesday, 26th November.

Jamaica Defense Forces to acquire 12 Bushmaster armoured personnel carrier of Thales Australia
 

Cabinet of Jamaica government has approved a five-year recapitalisation project for the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) which will see the JDF replacing obsolete and mainly unserviceable V150 armoured cars in its fleet. Under the project, the JDF (Jamaica Defense Forces) will acquire 12 Thales Australia Bushmaster armoured personnel carriers (APCs) a report from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) said.

According to the Kyodo News International website, Japan is considering to purchase MRAP armoured vehicles M-ATV from United States or Bushmaster 4x4 APC from Australia. The recently revised law enables the SDF to use land vehicles for the role abroad in addition to aircraft and ships, but the vehicles need to have enough safety features against potential terrorist attacks.
