The 385th Military Police Battalion conducted training with Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicles at Fort Stewart, Feb. 3-7. The M-ATV training included two 40 hour courses, one for the unit master drivers and a separate course for the wheeled vehicle mechanics.

The U.S. Defense Department wants to increase NATO's presence in Iraq to reduce the number of Americans serving there, Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper said: "To the degree that NATO can offset the U.S. presence, that would over time allow us to bring some forces home, which you all should know has been my ambition for some time," the secretary told reporters traveling with him on Feb.11 en route to NATO's Defense ministers conference in Brussels. According to news published by the newspaper website "The Times in India" on February 11, 2020, India could acquire National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System-II (NASAMS-II) from United States, to be used with Russian and Israeli air defense systems as a part of the overall air defense shield for the national capital which includes the indigenous Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) shield.

In a recent demo conducted in Israel, RAFAEL's Drone Dome C-UAS system performed interceptions of multiple drones, including maneuvering targets, using its hard-kill LASER BEAM director. The system achieved 100% success in all test scenarios. The stages of the interceptions included target detection, identification, and interception with a high-power LASER beam.

The trials of the advanced Floks and Magnolia artillery systems and the Drok mortar developed by Russia’s Burevestnik Central Research Institute will be completed within the next 18 months, the press office of the Uralvagonzavod Corporation told TASS. The serial production of the systems will be launched at the same time, the press office added.
