When it comes to battlefield, accurately detecting without being seen, recognizing & spotting targets, or checking security of an area, are key for the success of operations. That’s why infrared imaging has been used for decades in specific high-demanding military equipments. But the new SWaP infrared cameras by Device-ALab can now be embedded virtually anywhere, from individual fighter equipment up to airborne unmanned platforms.

Being the smallest European thermal camera core, the MicroCube has been designed for the most demanding OEMs looking for the optimum in performance and size. Only 22mm2 with a high resolution (640×480), the MicroCube is the smallest non-ITAR thermal core, enhancing vision for small UAVs, compact riflesights, and armored vehicles with an optimized SWaP solution.
Device-ALab latest generation of thermal cores in 12µm pixel pitch features true SWaP design and cover main standard interfaces, including USB-C or MIPI-CSI2.

Size, weight and power altogether make this European-made thermal core the ideal candidate for all applicationz where consumption and/or footprint are key factors, namely UAVs, UGVs and robot-type platforms, as well as handled devies and all battery-powered equipments.
