Scania is at Eurosatory to demonstrate how its offer, built on the company’s modular thinking and integrated support services, provides excellent opportunities for defence use. With global support through local presence, Scania’s complete offer for defence is characterised by customised truck and engine solutions that are based on Scania’s renowned, world-class civilian products and a completely integrated, sustainable, support solution. At its stand Scania will present a Scania P 370 4x4 with body-build for transporting personnel, an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) wall and two different-sized engines with outstanding power-to-weight ratio well suited for land vehicle systems, all products which exemplify that philosophy.

i2k Defense is a privately held corporation headquartered in Los Angeles County. it is a U.S. veteran-owned company that has been manufacturing inflatable products for the military, Fortune 500 companies and safety engineers for over 25 years. i2k specializes in the custom design, development and manufacture of U.S.-made inflatable decoys, targets and product replicas for the military, such as tanks and jets, pneumatic inflatable shelters and tents, including hangars, field offices and barracks, and inflatable replicas of buildings, houses, dwellings and complete cities—all 97% realistic from the air.

Rheinmetall presents the new version of the Fuchs/Fox wheeled armoured transport vehicle as a high-roof demonstrator to an international trade audience for the first time at the Eurosatory 2022. Featuring a high roof, the new variant of this battle-tested 6x6 vehicle enables a wide array of capabilities covering the full operational spectrum. Designed for maximum mobility, the new high-roof version of the Fuchs/Fox can serve in roles ranging from Command Post to armoured ambulance. This version is on show at Eurosatory 2022.

CNIM Systèmes Industriels has developed an unmanned ground vehicle based on the THeMIS platform from MILREM Robotics for route clearance in order to meet the security needs of military convoys in the theater of operations. Able to operate in difficult terrain, combining endurance and robustness, ROCUS allows threat to be inspected, confirmed and neutralized to ensure the safety of soldiers and the advance of convoys.

 

Mobile, modular, and scalable, ground-based air defence systems are gaining new importance now that NATO, as well as armed forces of partner countries, are
focusing once again on defending national and allied territory and airspace. At Eurosatory 2022, Rheinmetall is displaying its solutions for this area of application.

Inespring presents at Eurosatory 2022 in Paris the Centaur military exoskeleton.The Centaur is a load carrying military exoskeleton for heavy and awkward burdens. It is a light weight wearable, human powered, hydraulic system that reduces the burden, wear and tear of the musculoskeletal systems and discomfort while increasing endurance, survivability and the tooth-to-tail ratio of your forces.

In the field of medical service equipment, Rheinmetall offers not only special vehicles and state-of-the-art simulation technology for optimal mission preparation, but also products for medical service infrastructure. At Eurosatory 2022, Rheinmetall will exhibit one of its expandable medical shelters, which forms the basic module of an infrastructure for the highest quality and most modern medical technology. In mid-November 2021, Rheinmetall acquired Zeppelin Mobile Systeme GmbH (ZMS). The company from Meckenbeuren near Lake Constance, which specialises in mobile shelter systems including container and tent based solutions for all kind of operations, will be integrated into the burgeoning Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH, in which Rheinmetall's resources and capabilities relating to services for armed forces and security forces are pooled.

Intended primarily for small arms carried by infantry and other dismounted operating combat forces, laser light modules are used for detecting, identifying and marking targets. With its LLM-VarioRay product family, Rheinmetall offers a powerful portfolio in this field. In recent years, the LLM-VarioRay has established itself with many armed forces.

The Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft mbH (FFG) (Flensburg Vehicle Manufacturing Company) is a medium-sized company based in Flensburg, Germany. It operates in the military vehicle manufacturing, maintenance, and upgrade business sectors. The firm is showcasing Armoured Combat Support Vehicle G5 during the French exhibition Eurosatory 2022.

Under the motto Move – Sense – Strike, Rheinmetall is spotlighting numerous projects and capabilities for the digitized battlefields of tomorrow at the Eurosatory 2022 defence show. Among the Rheinmetall products debuting this year in Paris is the LUNA NG next-generation air-supported close-range reconnaissance system. An unmanned aerial system, the state-of-the-art LUNA NG reconnoitres, classifies, and recognizes objects on the ground in real time.

Sensor solutions provider Hensoldt and Italian vehicle manufacturer Iveco Defence Vehicles (IDV) are presenting the Military Utility Vehicle (MUV) concept demonstrator, the result of their cooperation to date. For the first time, the MUV is presenting a modular sensor fusion platform that can be used in the civilian and military sectors for surveillance and reconnaissance as well as for self-protection and convoy protection.

Germany-based PLATH GmbH &Co KG and Czech Republic-based company Primoco UAV just demonstrated that with joint efforts the first successful BVLOS-flight of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was made possible under an all-European LUC while regular air traffic was happening in a military airspace of the Bundeswehr in Manching.
