More than one hundred Jankel Fox Rapid Response vehicles (RRV), selected after competitive tender by the Belgium MOD in 2015, are now in full series production, with the first batches completed and delivered.

This significant milestone for the Jankel Fox RRV contract has seen Jankel successfully complete the Belgium programme trials, development and product sign off gateways.

Jankel met the Belgium Ministry of Defence (BeMOD)’s requirement to upgrade their military fleet with vehicles offering greater mobility, tactile agility and protection while on the ground. The Fox RRV is designed with enhanced weight carrying capacity, internal CH-47 air transportability and increased off-road agility to push the boundaries of payload, mobility and performance. Having agreed the production schedule, entering the final phases of the contract is a great success for all parties involved.

Full production is at Jankel’s latest production facility in Rustington, West Sussex, a purpose-designed centre that has already delivered over 100 vehicles for customers globally since its recent opening.

Commenting on the move to the final phase in the project, Mike Mullen, Managing Director said:
“This is a significant milestone for us. It comes shortly after we have secured a further contract with the BeMOD for additional light tactical vehicles and it’s great to be further cementing our relationship as we demonstrate our capability in this area.

The dedicated team at our West Sussex plant are focused on delivery now, after some good work to ensure we meet all technical requirements, and complete qualification testing. We’re looking forward to the continuation of the vehicles to BeMOD in the coming weeks.”
