Hornet launches a new Special Operations Vehicle at Eurosatory 2018

That's the first time at any defence exhibition for this new Hornet's product. With the demand increasing for Special Operation Vehicles, light, fast, but well equipped, Hornet launches a vehicle with 4x4 or 6x6 configurations.

The model that is shown at Eurosatory this year is 4x4 configuration based on a Toyota vehicle. It has been designed for maximum on the ground mobility which utilises large 315/70 R17 (35") tyres and Semi-Automatic Tyre Inflation System (STIS) to optimise ground pressure, the only objective measurement of vehicle mobility (ground pressure as low as 122Kpa @ 4500Kgs GVW).

This full-size vehicle, that responds to the need of Special Operators to be dropped far behind the lines, is not compromised by the dimensional constraints of internal helicopter transportation.

This range of vehicle offers the possibility to fight in difficult environment without giving up with the qualities of a commercial vehicle : according to Hornet, there is no compromise or dis-comfort with this size crew ergonomics.
