With more than 70,000 systems in service or under contract in over 20 countries around the world, Theon Sensors has established itself as a global power player in the Night Vision Market.

Dual tube dedicated night vision binocular, is a full MIL-SPEC, image intensified binocular that can be operated helmet-mounted, head-mounted or hand-held. It offers a better perception of depth compared to the single tube systems making it easier to judge distances and relative motion, so the ability to perform tasks such as driving is greatly improved.

It is ideal for special operations forces and drivers. For momentary configuration changes, the user can flip away each monocular separately. With both monoculars flipped away and flipped up, the system stows along the contour of the helmet thus reducing silhouette and neck strain, minimizing the danger of system damage. It features a self-contained single AA battery power and can also be operated via a remote battery pack at the rear of the helmet, for increased endurance.

The Day and night digital camera is designed for use with armoured vehicles. It offers a 4x magnification, which is ideal for use on armoured vehicles for observation and targeting during day and night. It has been fully tested according to the international standards for armoured vehicles.

The day and night digital camera uses a uniquely designed ICMOS sensor for night vision that includes an image intensifier tube coupled to an optimized global shutter CMOS sensor, resulting in unique optical performance. The video is sent over Ethernet, while control is implemented over CAN bus.
