Musthane
introduces the next generation of Mobility Mats & Trackways at Eurosatory
2014 |
Musthane, a French company, has invented a very new and smart Ground Mobility
Improvement Mats & Trackways. This very unique solution, based on
an innovative combination of polymers, composite materials and technical
textiles, exceeds the performances of existing plastic or metallic rapid
deploy mats thanks to its original design, made of a double-ply rubber
coated fabric reinforced with composite rods.

| More
than 4 years of research and development, resulting in more than 3 pending
patents, were necessary to bring different solutions for improving the
tactical mobility of the armed forces in different types of operations.
This new solution is distributed through the brand Mustmove®
from Musthane and covers the following range of applications:
• Mustmove® HELIPAD: Rapid deploy Helicopter landing area
• Mustmove® Beach Access: Rapid deploy Beach Access trackway
• Mustmove® DFP: De-bogging flexible mats
• Mustmove® SIM: Surface improvement mats for Roadways, Pedestrian
access ways and Tent Flooring |

| The
main advantages of these new mats are:
• More compact and lighter in “transport” configuration:
a 20mx20m Helipad full Kit, including lights and anchoring system, is
delivered in only one box of approx. 5m3 and only 1000kg weight.
• 100% impermeable to mud and sand
• Anti-sliding & abrasion-resistant rubber coated surface
• Really easier to clean and to remove from muddy & wet ground
• Repairable
• Much more resistant than plastic mats to punctures
• Customized (color, size, marking…) according to the customer
requirements
Musthane engineers did not only focus on the mats but also the necessary
equipment to use them properly. For example, the Helipad invented by Musthane
has a unique quick and safe anchoring system which offers the most efficient
anchoring system available on the market for operations on sand. This
anchoring system combined with the mats’ design makes the Mustmove®
Helipad one of the most attractive mobile and rapid deploy helicopter
landing mat on sand.
