The Eurosatory exhibition is the opportunity for The Armed Forces Joint Staff and the French Defence Armaments Board to organize the “SimDef 2014” seminar (booth K 884, LK 882 and LK 830), displaying the simulation use in favor of the Defence.

It benefits from ADIS Group support, grouping together the operator of the Army, the French Defence Armaments Board and the defence simulation industry. The “Simdef 2014” seminar is mainly directed towards the operators. Its aims at recalling, through a conferences cycle and ambitious exhibitions, the importance of the simulation in the initial and continuing education, plus in the preparation in order to an operational engagement consistently joint.

The SimDef naturally associates with 60 years of Army Aviation, given the importance of simulation in its trainig systems as well as its decision support systems for preparing operations.

The simulation defense seminar SimDef is organized at Eurosatory 2014. Simulation is presented through six operational issues.
- Prepare for military engagement in a digitized forces
- Prepare for military engagement in barracks using training network
- Prepare for military engagement with native assets embedded in equipments
- Apprehended complex threats and missions
- Shake out for urgent military engagement
- Manage aerospace coordination
