Rostec presents a new reconnaissance and signaling complex at EDEX 2021

The Ruselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation at the EDEX-2021 arms exhibition in Egypt for the first time presented a new generation reconnaissance and signaling complex. The device detects enemy personnel and ground vehicles, remaining completely invisible.

The equipment detects the movement of wheeled vehicles within a radius of up to 120 m, tracked vehicles - up to 200 m, a person - up to 30 m and transmits information to a remote command post at a distance of up to 35 km (Picture source: Ruselectronics)

The 1K144-E complex is an autonomous small-sized system, which includes seismic-infrared and seismomagnetometric sensors measuring about 20 centimeters and weighing 150-600 grams, as well as radio repeaters, antennas and a set of devices for receiving and displaying information.

The complex not only detects objects, but also determines the direction of their movement, counts and classifies by type: wheeled, tracked vehicles or manpower. Seismomagnetometric sensors are buried in the ground, and seismic infrared sensors are masked on the ground and provide continuous operation from built-in batteries for 30 days. The data is transmitted over a radio channel to a complex of devices for receiving and displaying information, on the monitor of which the operator sees an electronic map of the area indicating the location of sensors and detected objects. The installation time of the sensors, taking into account their burial into the ground and masking, does not exceed 5 minutes.

The solution was developed and produced by the Sozvezdie concern of the Ruselectronics holding.

“At the EDEX-2021 exhibition, we are presenting the export version of the 1K144-E complex to foreign customers for the first time. This is an advanced solution capable of covert remote monitoring of the territory. The equipment detects the movement of wheeled vehicles within a radius of up to 120 m, tracked vehicles - up to 200 m, a person - up to 30 m and transmits information to a remote command post at a distance of up to 35 km, ”said Mikhail Artyomov, general director of the Sozvezdie concern.
