Deftech, as a premier company in Malaysia, has recently placed a special focus on robotics and unmanned technologies. With the global trend for the military to equip one third of their inventories with unmanned systems and robots by 2025, Deftech has taken the initiative to be a frontrunner in Malaysia for such technologies.

”Aselsan A.S is a leading defence company from Turkey and is a centre of excellence for advance technologies, especially robotics. By partnering with Aselsan A.S, Deftech hopes to spearhead this niche market in Malaysia,” sait Lt. Col. Hj Dato’ Amril Samsudin, Group Chief Executive Officer of Deftech.

Deftech is closely cooperating with Aselsan Malaysia Sdn Bhd to promote the Aselsan SARP Remote Controlled Weapon System integrated with Unmanned Group Vehicle for the Malaysian Armed Forces and Security Services.

“We are also fully aware that Artificial Intelligence will be the next evolution of unmanned technologies, and have begun discussions with Aselsan A.S to seek areas of cooperation on this esoteric technology,” added Amril.
