Defense Ministry of Malaysia has announced 8 defense contracts worth US$ 716 million at DSA 2016
At the end of DSA 2016, Defence Services Asia Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s Defence Ministry has announced eight defense contracts worth RM2.8 billion (US$716 million), four Letters of Acceptance (LOA) worth RM114 Million (US$ 29 million), two Letters of Intent and a Letter of Instruction during the ongoing Defence Services Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference. It's 56% increase from that of DSA 2014.
     

     
During the four days of DSA 2016, Asian Defence Services Exhibition, Army Recognition editorial team has covered the event as Official Online Show Daily News and Official Web TV with video published on a large screen at the main entry of the show.

DSA 2016 was celebrated as the biggest and best to date, with record numbers across the board and a total of 1,200 exhibitors from 60 countries.

The Defence Services Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference 2016 is now in the top 5 of the most important international defense exhibition that has established a premier platform for defence industries to promote products, exchange ideas and technologies.

DSA is not only a defense exhibition but also a strategic centre that stimulates information sharing and closer ties between local defence and security agencies,

In his closing speech, Malaysian Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said billed as one of the top defence shows, DSA 2016 hosted over 300 top government officials and foreign delegations from 45 countries since it kicked off at Putra World Trade Centre on April 18.

"The first three days of the exhibition drew more than 38,000 trade visitors from over 77 countries, far exceeding our expectations of 34,000 visitors. This year also saw a record-breaking 1,200 participating companies representing more than 60 countries from the global defence and security industries," he said, adding DSA 2018 will be staged here in April 2018.
