Roketsan of Turkey presents new technology of anti-tank missiles Mizrak at DSA 2014.
Today the Turkish Company Roketsan is developing and manufacturing new-generation smart missiles that are completely indigenous and which have high potential on the world defence market. These comprise the Cirit 2.75" laser-guided missile, Mizrak-U long-range anti-tank missile, Mizrak-O medium-range anti-tank missile and missile launching systems, SOM (Stand-Off Missile), Hisar low- and medium-altitude air defence missile, extended-range surface-to-surface multi-calibre artillery rockets (300mm, 122mm and 107mm) and the ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare) rocket.

Roketsan Missile Industries Inc, which provides reliable system solutions with proven performance, has been serving its domestic and foreign customers for more than 25 years with its 1,800 experienced personnel. Since its establishment in 1988, with the aim of being a global player in the defence industry, Roketsan have carried out various national and international programmes not only for Turkish Armed Forces requirements but also for allied and friendly nations.

The Mizrak-U long-range anti-tank missile is a system that can be used from fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, fixed platforms, armoured vehicles and navy vessels. The basic features of the Mizrak-U are its 8km range, IIR seeker or laser seeker option, and day/night all-weather operational capability. It also has fire-and-forget and fire-and-update operational modes, bidirectional RF data-link, tandem warhead, insensitive munitions and multi-platform integration.

The Mizrak-0 medium-range antitank missile can be used on tripods, fixed platforms, armoured vehicles and navy vessels. It has a 4km range, fire-and-forget and fire-and-update operational modes, bidirectional RF data-link, tandem warhead, insensitive munitions, can be fired from confined spaces, and has a day/ night all-weather operational capability. These are the basic features of the Mizrak-0 system.
