NIMR from UAE introduces its family of 4x4 combat-proven military vehicles into the Asian market.
At the Defense & Security 2015 International Exhibition in Bangkok (Thailand), NIMR, the military vehicle manufacturer based in the UAE, has announced a new phase in the company’s growth and development plans with the launch of its award-winning, combat-proven military vehicles into the Asian market.

NIMR offers three elite classes of ultra-capable tactical and utility military vehicles, the AJBAN, HAFEET and N35, which are purpose-built with design flexibility to address a diverse range of payloads and mission requirements. The 4x4 and 6x6 variants are battle-tested, demonstrating superior durability in even the harshest and most rugged of environments. Both variants are available in armoured or non-armoured configurations, with modular configurable crew capacity and payload, where protection and mobility is the focus of design.

NIMR is a subsidiary of Emirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC), the UAE’s integrated defence manufacturing and services platform.

NIMR’s multi-purpose vehicles have an extensive array of applications ranging from tactical missions in harsh, arid environments to modern urban warfare, deep infiltration missions, reconnaissance, border surveillance, support logistics and riot control. NIMR vehicles can be employed in different situational scenarios, including as armament carriers, logistics vehicles, ambulances, or as mobile Command and Control centres.

At the booth of NIMR, visitors of Defense and Security 2015 can see two vehicles of the AJBAN family. The first vehicle is the Ajban 440, a 4x4 armoured vehicle with a four seats cabin at the front of the chassis and cargo area a the rear.

The AJBAN Class of 4x4 vehicles provides a multipurpose platform for all military requirements at 9 tonnes capacity from utility vehicles to fully protected patrol vehicles. A universal 4x4 chassis is utilised for a common logistic footprint to the user to minimize the burden of training, maintenance and spare parts management. All vehicles in the AJBAN Class can be protected, and specific protected models are included for crew survivability with fully tested and certified cabins.

The second vehicle presented by NIMR at Defense & Security 2015 Thailand is the Ajban ISV, the Hardened Internal Security vehicle.

Carrying up to ten crew the ISV is equipped to deal with any internal security situation utilising audible and optical deterrents, integrated situational awareness and communication systems for inter-vehicle coordination.
