The IT180-3EL-I is a mini Vertical Take-Off & Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTOL UAV) propelled by a brushless electrical engine associated with a gyrostabilized Electro-Optical/ InfraRed (EO/IR) video camera made to perform Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions.

Able to fly up to 50 minutes with a 3 kg payload, this system can be employed for a wide range of operations requiring stealth capabilities. Its unique patented contrarotating rotors and its complete architecture designed according to military standards allow the IT180-3EL-I to be operated despite extremely harsh weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, wind).

Thanks to its high performances, the IT180-3EL-I is currently used by the French army in military operations and benefits of the label « field proven ». Thus it is the benchmark VTOL UAS of its category.

ECA is also presenting its Cobra MK2 E which is a 5kg war proven UGV especially designed for EOD/IEDD operations. The modular architecture of the Cobra MK2 E supports different types of payload from detection to neutralisation with various water disruptors. The ultra light Operator Control Unit facilitates dismounted operations.

The robot helps in conducting reconnaissance missions, neutralization, removal and destruction of explosive devices and ammunition. Cobra MK2 could be used for intelligence gathering in Thailand's insurgency-battered deep south.
