According to a press release published by Rafael on September 30, 2020, the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO), in the Directorate of Defense R&D (DDR&D), of the Israel Ministry of Defense, delivered the first of two Iron Dome Air Defense Missile System batteries to the U.S. Army. Textron Systems announced on Sept. 29 it has been awarded a contract to support work on the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) missile system. This scope of work is part of a larger award by the U.S. Air Force to prime contractor Northrop Grumman. The GBSD system is designed to provide a modern, reliable and safe nuclear deterrent capability for the Air Force.

Russian ministry of Defense has planned to arm Russian marines with BMP-3F infantry fighting vehicles for coastal and landing operations, including firing from water. Experts believe the new vehicles will increase the firepower of marines several fold. They will be able to engage in local conflicts and in clashes with modern armies. The final decision will follow the trials of BMP-3F at the current Caucasus-2020 exercise, the Izvestia daily writes.

The Estonian Centre for Defence Investment (ECDI) signed a Joint Procurement Agreement with the Dutch authorities to procure a total of seven THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) from Milrem Robotics, the leading developer of robotics and autonomous systems in Europe. The Defense Ministry has completed the formation of the first mobile air defense missile brigade in the Far East. It will soon go on test and combat duty. The brigade of the Eastern Military District deployed in the Jewish region is armed with S-300V4 to provide air and missile defense. The brigade can be rapidly redeployed to any place in the Far East and Siberia. S-300V4 will protect stationary and marching troops against aircraft and ballistic missiles.
