According to The Guam Daily Post, one of the U.S. Army’s Iron Dome missile defense systems is being deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, the military announced Thursday in a press release. Personnel needed for the missile defense deployment have arrived on Guam, the military said, but the numbers were not released publicly. The military called it an "experimental deployment."

According to Daily Sabah, a group of Turkish defense contractors is testing a kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that will be used to counter and neutralize other drone-borne threats. The first batch of new BTR-82A armored personnel carriers made by the Russian company Arzamas Machine-Building Plant has been delivered at the railway station of Ozerishche, Minsk, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA news agency. Most of these new BTR-82A APCs will be handed over to the 120th Independent Mechanized Brigade. Some will be handed over to the 72nd Joint Training Center and the Military Academy of Belarus. The agreement on this delivery APCs was signed at the Russia Arms Expo 2015 show in Nizhny Tagil in September 2015. The Belarusian Defense Ministry confirmed the deal at the time but did not specify the number of vehicles earmarked for delivery.
