EODH with Rheinmetall and Valhalla presents NIMROD 300 remote weapon station

EODH presents its newly-designed Nimrod 300 Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RWS), designed by Valhalla in collaboration with Rheinmetall and EODH, as a low-cost, high-performance solution for upgrading Armored Infantry Vehicles.

This RWS has a 30x173mm automatic gun (Oerlikon KCE or ATK Mk44), a 7.62mm tandem machine gun and the ability to customize a single or twin Fire-and-Forget anti-tank missile launcher, or a Loitering Ammunition unit to counter all kinds of targets at long distances.

Rheinmetall's state-of-the-art day/night sights as well as the remote control unit with the appropriate software and multiple interface options of different subsystems, ensure high flexibility and ease of design adaptation to any operational requirement. This RWS is included in the offered upgrade package of the 4K7FAAPC to the Leonidas 300 standard, which also includes the replacement of the power pack, electrical and electronic circuits as well as the upgrade of the protection level to Level 5 according to STANAG 4569.

With more than 18 years of history, EODH has resorted to its own state-of-the-art production plant, pursuing specific investment and development plans in it. As a result, EODH has become a major global partner in the development, design and manufacture of all types of defence protection systems in the defence market, with operations in Greece, Europe and the Middle East. Providing innovative and custom solutions for today's specific needs, EODH has become one of KMW's preferred partners in the Leopard 2A7 MBT and the production of Boxer 8×8 as well as other modern IFVs. Its important role is reflected in the design, manufacture and integration of the protection solutions it offers.
