At the final stage of the preparation of combat vehicles, drawings and letters from the children of tank builders and Orthodox icons were enclosed in them. “These warm and sincere children's messages, as well as icons with the patron saint of all military men, Dmitry Donskoy, we have invested in our T-90M Proryv tanks, which are sent to the Russian army today”, said Ivan Kukartsev, leader of the youth organization. Archpriest John Bragin consecrated the armored vehicles, after which the echelon of T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks under the march "Farewell of the Slav" set off.

Uralvagonzavod, as part of the state defense order, supplies the troops with both new and upgraded tanks to the level of the T-90M "Proryv". The preparation and mastering of mass production of these modern armored vehicles at the enterprise have been fully completed, and positive results of qualification tests have been obtained.

The T-90M tank was developed by the Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering (as part of the Uralvagonzavod concern, it is part of the Rostec State Corporation). It is the most advanced tank in the T-90 family and the most adapted to operations in modern combat conditions, including due to the presence of all-aspect protection, a modern all-day highly automated fire control system and the implementation of measures to increase survivability. The modernization of the "90th" turned out to be so multi-level that the T-90M "Breakthrough" can rightfully be considered a new combat vehicle. The turret has been completely replaced on it, the power and transmission units and the undercarriage have been modernized, and the level of armor resistance has been increased.

In terms of combat effectiveness, the T-90M tank is significantly superior to its predecessor T-90, but at the same time retains its advantages, such as reliability and minimal maintenance during operation.
