The contract will be running for the next five years and will enable maintenance support of Patriot missiles at two European facilities in Germany and The Netherlands. COMLOG is a joint venture between MBDA (Germany) and Raytheon Missiles & Defense (USA). The company operates the NSPA Support Partnership own Patriot Missile Facility, which is one of the only two PATRIOT missile maintenance facilities in the world.

For more than 30 years, NSPA in partnership with COMLOG has provided supply, technical, procurement, transportation and maintenance support to its growing user community of Patriot missile users in Europe, which currently includes Germany, Greece, the United States of America, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Romania and Sweden. The eight Nations are part of the NSPA Patriot Support Partnership, which allows them to organize common logistics, so reducing costs and achieving economies of scale.

The MIM-104 Patriot (Phased-Array Tracking Radar to Intercept On Target) is an air and missile defense system designed and produced by Raytheon, currently in use worldwide including in several NATO countries. These ground-based defensive systems help strengthen the integrated shielding of NATO's borders and protect populations and territory from missile threats.
