Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the United States has already delivered several billions of dollars worth of military equipment to Ukraine.

On March 20, 2023, the United States announced a new military aid for Ukraine including U.S. arms and equipment for Ukraine valued at $350 million. This military assistance package includes more ammunition for U.S.-provided HIMARS and howitzers that Ukraine is using to defend itself, as well as ammunition for Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, HARM missiles, anti-tank weapons, riverine boats, and other equipment.

The M-ATV (MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle) is a type of armored vehicle used by the military to protect against roadside bombs and other improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in war zones. It was specifically designed to be more maneuverable and versatile than other Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles, while still providing a high level of protection to occupants.

The M-ATV is primarily used as a light tactical vehicle for transporting troops, equipment, and supplies in areas where there is a high risk of roadside bombs and other improvised explosive devices (IEDs). It can accommodate a crew of up to 5 personnel, including a driver, commander, gunner, and two passengers.

The M-ATV features a V-shaped hull and advanced armor plating to protect against explosions from below. It is also equipped with advanced communications systems, weapons mounts, and other features to enable it to carry out a variety of military missions. The M-ATV is manufactured by the Oshkosh Corporation, which is an American industrial company that specializes in defense and commercial vehicles.

The M-ATV (MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle) is powered by a 6.7-liter V8 turbo diesel engine produced by Cummins. The engine is capable of producing up to 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque, which provides the vehicle with excellent acceleration and off-road capabilities. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case that allows the driver to switch between high and low gear ranges depending on the terrain. It can reach a top speed of 105km/h with a maximum cruising range of 650 km.

The standard version of the M-ATV is equipped with a Remote Weapon Station (RWS) that is mounted on the roof of the vehicle. The RWS can be operated from inside the vehicle using a joystick and video monitor and can be armed with a variety of machine guns, including the M2 .50 caliber machine gun and the MK19 40mm grenade launcher.
