According to Daily Sabah, the engine for Turkey’s long-awaited indigenously developed Altay main battle tank (MBT) has arrived from South Korea, Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) head Ismail Demir said Sunday, March 13: "The tests of the engine’s power systems are currently underway. We are waiting for May. We will see the prototype of the tank with this engine," he said while speaking to a group of journalists on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF).

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency successfully launched the most advanced version of the Patriot missile from a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system in a Feb. 24 test at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, Lockheed Martin told Defense News, as reported by Jen Judson. The Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement — or PAC-3 MSE — was fired using the THAAD system against a simulated incoming target, Scott Arnold, vice president of integrated air and missile defense at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, said in a March 9 statement. Lockheed manufactures both the MSE and the THAAD system.

According to Interfax, at the talks in Moscow, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, whom the EU and the United States do not consider legally elected, and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to supply modern military equipment to Belarus.
