After being brought to the highest degree of readiness, the personnel on standard equipment, accompanied by military traffic police vehicles, made a multi-kilometer march to the indicated area. The command posts of the subdivisions began to work in the field. The control of staff units and reinforcement units was carried out in the conditions of the use of electronic warfare by a ‘’conditional’’ enemy.

When collecting information, assessing the situation for the commander of the training unit to make a decision and setting combat missions, the Andromeda-D automated command and control system was used, which makes it possible to cover all levels of command and control of the Airborne Forces from the Command of the Airborne Forces to the airborne combat vehicle and a separate soldier.

In the course of working out training questions for the trained airborne forces, a complex, rapidly changing situation was created, which is characteristic of combat operations in modern armed conflicts.

In total, more than 1,500 servicemen and 200 units of military and special equipment, Ilyushin Il-76MD airlifters, as well as 2 transport-combat helicopter Mil Mi-8 AMTSh "Terminator" and 2 attack helicopters Mi-24 Hind are involved.
