India successfully test-fired a nuclear-capable, long-range ballistic missile on Monday, June 6, the Defence Ministry said, as reported by several Indian media: "A successful training launch of an Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missile, Agni-4, was carried out at approximately 19.30 hours on June 6, 2022, from APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha (eastern India)," the ministry said in a statement.

Bittium has received a purchase order from the Finnish Defence Forces for further development of the new software version of the software-defined radio-based Bittium Tactical Wireless IP Network (TAC WIN) system. The development work continues the performance enhancement of the waveform and radio platform software of the TAC WIN system based on the observations made during field testing and training and waveform research done by Bittium.

According to a statement published by the British Ministry of Defense on June 6, 2022, the United Kingdom will give M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRSs) to Ukraine to help the country defend itself against Russian invasion. The MLRS is able to launch guided rockets at a range of up to 70 km as well as a tactical missile with a maximum firing range of 300 km.

According to a statement published by the Swedish Ministry of Defense on June 2, 2022, Sweden has adopted a new amendment to provide Ukraine with financial support and equipment in response to Russia’s invasion. According to information published by the "dziennil.pl" website on June 1, 2022, after the delivery last week of the first batch of 18 Polish-made Krab 155mm tracked self-propelled howitzers in Ukraine, Poland signed a new agreement with Ukraine to deliver 60 new 155mm howitzers that will be manufactured by the polish company HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola).

According to Oishee Majumdar in Janes, Thales will be partnering with Bandung-based, state-owned defense electronics firm PT Len Industri to supply 13 Ground Master 403 (GM403) air surveillance radars and SkyView command-and-control (C2) system to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). According to a statement published by the United States Department of Defense on June 1, 2022, the United States announced the delivery to Ukraine of four M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems), rocket/missile launcher systems. With this new artillery system, the Ukrainian army will be able to hit targets at a greater distance than a howitzer which has a firing range of around 30 km.

According to pictures and video published on Internet Social Network, the M109A3GN 155mm tracked self-propelled howitzers donated by Norway are now in Ukraine and operated by the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces. The M109A3GN is an upgraded version of the American M109A3 155mm howitzers.

The Turkish company Baykar Makina, which produces Bayraktar TB2 drones, handed over one TB2 destined for Ukraine to Lithuania, Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas said on Facebook (notice that this social network and its parent company Meta are qualified as extremists in Russia, hence their activities are prohibited there). An unprecedented aspect of this donation is that Baykar Makina agreed to donate the $6m armed drone, which Lithuania was crowdfunding for, in support of Ukraine’s war against Russian invaders.

According to Belga news agency, the Belgian Defense was unable to buy back the completely refurbished M109 155mm tracked self-propelled howitzers it had sold in 2015 to FTS, a Belgian private company. Belgian Minister of Defense Ludivine Dedonder explained on June 1, in the Defense Committee of the Parliament, that these howitzers, which were of interest to the Ukrainian authorities, have already gone to Ukraine.
